Use a service blueprint to diagnose a broken member journey across frontstage and backstage work.
The move: diagnose the service, not the person standing nearest to the complaint. Service blueprinting is the right tool when the experience crosses roles. In fitness clubs, that is almost every meaningful moment: joining, freezing a membership, booking a class, starting PT, checking in a guest, reporting a locker issue, or recovering from a billing error. The member experiences a single promise. Internally, the promise is delivered by people, props, systems, and policies.
