Check forward points before you book the rate
Calculate an all-in forward rate from a spot reference and forward points.
A EUR 300,000 payment is due in three months. EUR/USD spot reference is 1.0800 and forward points are +0.0024. All-in forward rate equals spot reference plus or minus forward points, with the sign exactly as quoted. The common trap is recognizing the spot rate and ignoring the points.
