Keep furnace changes inside a PDCA loop
Use PDCA to frame a small, measured furnace-process change instead of making an undocumented adjustment.
The move: make the change small enough to learn from. Plan: turn a hunch into a test In a glass plant, a process change is rarely isolated. If the team changes a setpoint, pull rate, batch input, or inspection threshold without a test frame, the line may improve for the wrong reason or hide the next problem.
