Model relationships before metrics
Draft a graph model that separates entities, relationships, and properties for one workplace question.
The move: model the question as paths, not columns. Graph analytics is powerful because it preserves relationships as first-class facts. Before choosing PageRank, community detection, shortest paths, or embeddings, decide what the graph actually means. Entities become nodes Use nodes for things that can participate in more than one relationship: customers, employees, devices, articles, tickets, products, suppliers, locations, skills, or repositories.
