Answer in Plain Language
Rewrite an HR policy response so it gives the employee a clear answer, reason, and next action.
The move: answer first, then explain. A clear HR response usually has four parts. First, the answer: yes, no, not yet, or here is what we can do. Second, the reason: the policy rule in plain terms. Third, the action: what the employee, manager, or HR team does next. Fourth, the boundary: what cannot be done, when the deadline passes, or when escalation is needed.
