Change your mind in public
Use double-loop learning to explain a public belief update without sounding erratic.
The move: update the rule, not just the answer. Double-loop learning asks whether the assumption behind your action still deserves to govern the work. Single-loop learning says, "This tactic failed, so try another tactic." Double-loop learning says, "What rule made that tactic seem right, and is that rule still true?" That distinction is powerful for intellectual humility because it gives you a clean way to change your mind in public. You do not need to perform self-criticism.
