Test backups like a service
Design a backup restore test that proves service recoverability rather than job completion.
The organization tracks backup job success but has not proven that the claims service can be restored with keys, files, and a working application transaction. Restore test ladder: copy exists, data opens, dependencies match, application runs, business transaction passes, metrics recorded.
