Keep online claims clear and close

Spot when an online claim needs a clear, proximate disclosure.

The claim and the catch travel together. A disclosure is not a magic footnote. It works only when a reasonable user can notice, understand, and use it before acting. That is why placement, timing, and plain language matter as much as legal wording. What to scan Use a short checklist: who is affected, what the user sees, what data or content moves, what promise the company makes, and what evidence you would need if challenged. Common trap Teams often debate risk level before they have facts. A two-minute fact map usually changes the answer.
