Price the risk, not just the pile

Identify failure modes that should change a junk-removal quote before committing to a price.

The move: treat the quote as a risk scan, not just a volume estimate. Failure Mode Ask how the job can behave differently than the photos suggest. A small pile can be heavy. A simple couch can become a door-removal problem. A clean garage can hide restricted chemicals. Effect Name what the failure mode does to labor, safety, customer trust, route timing, or disposal cost. If the effect changes the job economics, it must be visible before price commitment.
