Choose the right response when probes cause restart loops.
Probes are contracts between the app and Kubernetes. Liveness answers 'should this container be restarted?' Readiness answers 'should this Pod receive traffic?' Startup probes protect slow-starting apps before liveness takes over. The right response depends on what the evidence says: a slow but eventually healthy startup should use a startup probe or adjusted initial delay, not a bigger replica count.
