Replace the fake summary with a checked one
Explain why a checked paraphrase beats a vague summary in a meeting recap.
Before: the facilitator performs closure. After: the facilitator checks the actual agreement. Before: "Looks like we are aligned." After: "My read is... what did I miss?" The summary gets specific. Instead of claiming alignment, it names the concrete parts that seem agreed and the part still unresolved. The check invites repair. "What did I miss?" is easier to answer than "Any objections?" because it assumes correction is useful, not disruptive. The listener shifts levels.
