Name the Job Behavior Before You Build
Convert a vague LMS course request into a target job behavior, learner group, evidence check, and non-training blocker list.
The course shell is not the starting point. It is the implementation of a performance decision. Behavior before content Name the action a learner must take outside the LMS. Use a verb that can be observed: approve, classify, escalate, configure, submit, coach, document, or decide. Evidence before settings Completion settings only matter when they match proof. If the job behavior is recall, a quiz may work. If the behavior is judgment, use a scenario. If the behavior is execution, use a task upload, simulation, or manager verification.
