Use a targeted asset walkdown to improve the accuracy of a maintenance work package.
The move: verify the real work area before the plan becomes official. A maintenance Gemba walk is a planning control. It helps the planner compare the draft package with the asset, the work area, and the actual constraints the crew will face. The goal is not to inspect everything. The goal is to test the assumptions that can break the schedule. Access Can the crew reach the asset with the tools, lift, and clearance the plan assumes?
