Make standard work the baseline, then improve it

The move: turn repeat work into a shared baseline. Standardized work gives maintenance teams a stable starting point. It captures the safest, most reliable known method for a repeat task: sequence, tools, materials, cautions, timing assumptions, and acceptance criteria. It should be specific enough to reduce variation, but not so brittle that it blocks judgment. Baseline The job plan states the normal method.
