Identify how to reinforce progress without creating hero dependency.
The move: Name the reusable behavior that produced progress. High performers often create a management illusion: because they deliver, the manager assumes they need less attention. In reality, they need a different kind of attention. Less supervision does not mean less clarity, less feedback, or fewer growth conversations.
