High Standards Need Psychological Safety
Explain why psychological safety and accountability must rise together for high performers.
The move: Make risk disclosure part of the performance standard. High performers often create a management illusion: because they deliver, the manager assumes they need less attention. In reality, they need a different kind of attention. Less supervision does not mean less clarity, less feedback, or fewer growth conversations.
