Apply TILE as a pre-lift risk assessment before relying on safe-lifting technique.
The move: scan TILE before you coach posture. TILE stands for Task, Individual, Load, Environment. It is a fast way to stop one common failure: treating manual handling as if the only question is whether someone knows how to lift. The task may include reaching into a bin, twisting to a shelf, carrying across a long route, or repeating the lift all morning.
