Give instructor feedback with SBI
Use Situation-Behavior-Impact to give fair, actionable feedback after observing a class.
The move: coach the behavior, not the instructor's identity. Instructor feedback often fails in two ways. It is either too soft to change anything or too personal to be heard. SBI solves both by making the feedback observable. Situation Name the class, drill, or moment. "During the 5:15 beginner class, when you introduced breakfalls..." is better than "lately." Behavior Describe what a camera would capture. "You demonstrated once from the front and then turned away to set up cones" is more useful than "you were unclear." Impact Explain why it mattered.
