Start with the one job the nugget must change

Write a one-action learning objective that controls what belongs in a microlearning nugget.

The move: define the evidence before you write the lesson. Backward design asks you to start from the result and work backward into teaching. For microlearning, the result has to be narrow enough to complete in one sitting. "Understand accessibility" is too broad. "Choose the more accessible button label for a screen reader user" is narrow enough to teach, practice, and check in five minutes. Use three filters. First, name the work input the learner will face.
