Design the Meeting Before Someone Has to Ask

The move: Use UDL to make a recurring meeting easier to enter, follow, and contribute to. UDL says inclusion improves when people get multiple means of engagement, representation, and action or expression. In workplace meetings, that translates into three design moves: show the purpose before the room starts, make information visible in more than one mode, and offer more than one way to contribute. This is not extra help for one person. It reduces working-memory load, social timing pressure, and ambiguity for everyone while preserving rigor.
