Capture Less, Clarify More
Process a Notion inbox by deciding actionability, owner, and next action.
The move: separate capturing from deciding Fast capture is valuable because it protects attention in the moment. But a captured item is still unfinished thinking. GTD's clarify step asks whether the item is actionable and, if so, what the next visible action is. In Notion, that means every inbox item should either become a task, attach to a project, become reference, be delegated, be scheduled, or be deleted. Design your inbox view around processing, not browsing. Useful properties include Source, Captured date, Actionable, Next action, Owner, Related project, and Processed.
