Build onboarding measures across reaction, learning, behavior, and results instead of relying on completion data.
The move: measure the transfer path, not only the event. Kirkpatrick gives onboarding designers four lenses: reaction, learning, behavior, and results. Use all four, but do not give them equal strategic weight. Level 4: Results What outcome should onboarding improve? Time to first independent ticket, safe access, manager confidence, retention, customer readiness, or fewer avoidable escalations.
