Blueprint the grooming handoff

Map a pet retail service handoff into customer actions, frontstage actions, backstage actions, and support processes.

A service blueprint shows how the customer-facing moment is supported by backstage work. Start with the customer journey: arrival, check-in, update, pickup, payment, handoff, follow-up. Then draw the line of visibility. Above the line are frontstage actions: greeting the owner, confirming the pet, explaining the groom, taking payment, returning the leash. Below the line are backstage actions: kennel checks, notes, sanitation, add-on entry, incident documentation, and scheduling.
