Create a psychologically safe reporting habit for pet retail incidents and near misses.
Safety reporting is a management system. It depends on what happens after someone speaks up. In a pet store, small misses can become serious quickly: an enclosure latch, a wet floor, a mislabeled supplement, expired treats, a stressed grooming dog, or a freezer temperature issue. Psychological safety makes it more likely that associates will raise those weak signals early. The point is not to remove standards.
