Build print quality into the process

Explain why a print shop needs process controls, customer focus, and continual improvement rather than inspection alone.

The reframe: quality is a system, not a heroic inspector. ISO 9001 is built around a quality management system. In a print environment, that system shows up in the ordinary details: how job specs are confirmed, how proofs are approved, how color targets are documented, how plates are checked, how press readings are recorded, how bindery samples are pulled, and how nonconforming work is handled.
