Validate the CSV before transforming it
Create a pre-transform validation gate for required columns, valid values, uniqueness, and freshness.
The campaign upload expects one row per customer with valid country names. The source CSV has inconsistent country values and possible duplicate customer IDs. Data quality gate: completeness, validity, consistency, uniqueness, and freshness are checked before transformation. The shortcut is to fix values silently during transformation. That makes the output uploadable but hides source quality issues. Before Transform first, discover bad country values when the campaign platform rejects the upload.
