Commit to using three needs-discovery questions on the retail floor before recommending products.

Ask three needs-discovery questions before making recommendations during one retail-floor shift. Use this when a shopper asks for a product category, compares two items, mentions price, asks for the best option, or brings an item to checkout that may need a relevant completion item. On my next shift, before three recommendations, I will ask one question from this set: What is this for? What needs to fit or be avoided? What would make this work better than your last one?
