Use SIPOC before you redraw quote-to-cash
Frame a revenue process by naming suppliers, inputs, process, outputs, and customers before redesign work begins.
SIPOC gives revenue teams a bounded view of a messy system. Use it at the start of a process investigation, especially when people disagree about where the work begins or what a “good” output looks like. RevOps teams often skip this and go straight into field-by-field arguments. That is usually too detailed, too early. A good SIPOC is high-level by design.
