Battlecard: when the rep says, 'That buyer was impossible'
Use a short response pattern that acknowledges buyer difficulty without abandoning the evidence review.
A seller gets defensive as soon as the scorecard shows weak discovery or call control. That buyer was impossible. Anybody would have struggled on that call. Maybe so. Let's separate the buyer difficulty from the behaviors we can still score. I want to look at the moments where you could have changed what the buyer revealed or committed to. It acknowledges reality without surrendering the standard. The rep feels less personally attacked, but the manager keeps the review anchored in observable moments and coachable skills.
