Use scope, time, quality, and resources as tradeoff levers when refusing or reshaping added work.
The four levers are scope, time, quality, and resources. When new work appears, at least one lever must move. Scope Do a smaller version: one page instead of a full deck, one metric cut instead of a full model. Time Move the delivery date so the work can be done properly. Quality Be careful with this lever.
