Patrol with three levels of awareness
Distinguish seeing, understanding, and projecting risk during a security patrol.
The move: patrol in three layers, not one glance. A useful patrol note separates perception, comprehension, and projection. Perception is the raw cue: a propped door, a new vehicle, a person waiting near a restricted elevator, a wet floor, a camera angle that changed. Comprehension is the meaning: how that cue relates to post orders, time of day, normal traffic, known work orders, and current threats. Projection is the next risk: what could happen if nobody acts.
