Speak while the decision is still movable
Identify the last responsible moment to raise a concern before a decision becomes socially committed.
The move: enter before silence becomes consent. A meeting has a social closing point. Once someone says "sounds like we are aligned," the room starts treating silence as agreement. That does not mean dissent is forbidden, but it does mean the interpersonal cost has gone up. Use closing language as a cue. Phrases like "last call," "we are aligned," "I will take that as yes," and "let us move on" are not just logistics. They are decision gates.
