Use a FIXED LOD denominator when filters should not redefine the total.
Company-total share under product filters Percent of total must declare its denominator. If the denominator is “whatever is visible,” a table calculation is often fine. If the denominator is “company total regardless of this dimension filter,” FIXED LOD is the beginner-safe way to make that denominator explicit. FIXED can compute independent of the view level of detail and is affected only by specific earlier filters such as context, data source, and extract filters.
