The move: escalate the problem system, not just the pain. A3 thinking turns a messy issue into a shared problem story. It asks the owner to capture the current condition, the gap, the evidence, possible causes, countermeasures, owners, timing, and proof that the countermeasure worked. In a TAM context, that structure is valuable because the issue usually crosses boundaries: customer admin, TAM, support, engineering, product, and sometimes sales or legal.
