Map the fabric flow before buying more capacity
Use value stream mapping to distinguish processing time from waiting time in a textile finishing flow.
The reframe: long lead time is often a waiting problem disguised as a machine problem. Map one product family Do not map the whole plant at once. Choose a family such as reactive-dyed cotton jersey or polyester woven finishing. Follow one order type from customer trigger to shipment so the map stays specific enough to improve.
