Apply progressive disclosure to reduce complexity without hiding needed controls.
Settings overload A first-time admin opens SSO setup and sees 42 controls before choosing a provider. The page is asking expert questions before the user has made prerequisite choices. Progressive disclosure Required now -> Conditional next -> Advanced later Reveal complexity in the order the user can act on it. Keep the path visible, but do not make every edge case compete with the first decision.
