Write a Usability Task That Does Not Give Away the Answer
Rewrite a leading usability task into a realistic goal-based task.
In a test script for a file-sharing app, the task says, "Use the Share button to invite Morgan as an editor." Every participant succeeds. The team celebrates until someone notices the script told them exactly which control to use. Task writing: goal, context, success criteria, no UI terms.
