Build a weighted location score that separates demand quality from the excitement of getting permission.
The move: make every location compete on the same criteria. A decision matrix turns a vague site judgment into a weighted comparison. For vending, start with five criteria: demand potential, competition, service burden, commercial terms, and product fit. Give each a weight. Demand may be 35 points, service burden 20, terms 20, competition 15, and product fit 10. Then score each location from 1 to 5 and multiply by the weight.
