Protect the first five steps

Decide what to remove from an entrance so shoppers can orient before being asked to buy.

The front threshold is doing too many jobs at once. The clearance tower is inside the decompression zone. What should Maya do before doors open? Move the tower deeper and leave a clear sightline to the hero story. Right. The entrance earns attention and orientation; the selling decision moves to a place where shoppers can stop and engage. Keep the tower in place because the discount needs maximum footfall. Weak. Footfall is not the same as attention; the decompression zone is too early for a dense price decision.
