Select a stronger first response to welding fume exposure using the hierarchy of controls.
Visible welding fume is a control problem, not just a comfort problem. Use the hierarchy from most reliable to least: remove or reduce the source where possible, capture or isolate the plume, adjust the work practice, then use PPE as the last layer.
