Use a short script to handle immediate-response pressure during focus time.
A teammate asks for an immediate reply during a protected deep work block, and the request sounds small enough to make refusal feel rude. Can you just reply now? It should only take a minute. I am in the focus block for the forecast until 10:30. If this blocks today's customer call, tag it urgent and I will switch; otherwise I will reply at 10:30.
