RACI for Entitlement Handoffs
Use RACI to clarify who owns entitlement actions and approvals during property development.
Ambiguity hides in the word "we." A project team can be aligned in tone and still be unclear on ownership. Separate Work From Ownership RACI prevents two common development failures. The first is orphan work: everyone assumed someone else was preparing the evidence. The second is committee ownership: five people review, nobody decides, and the issue drifts until the deadline decides for you.
