Protect Flow With WIP Limits

Set and defend a work-in-progress limit for a shot or asset workflow.

Busy is not the same as flowing. A full board can be a warning sign if work is not reaching a usable handoff state. Visualize the actual workflow Do not limit WIP against fantasy stages. Map the real states a shot travels through: intake, blocking, supervisor review, spline, polish, tech check, final, or the equivalent for assets. The limit belongs where work queues and waits.
