Public Praise as Team Learning
Distinguish when public praise creates a learning effect for the whole team.
The teach Public praise is strongest when it is explicit and transferable. Say what happened and why this behavior is a team standard: what was done, and what this made possible. This keeps the praise useful, not performative. The strongest public line is never vague. "Great leadership" is too thin. "You paused the debate and called out the owner before changing scope" gives the room a clear pattern.
