Make the Audience the Hero of the Arc
Shape a workplace presentation around audience movement rather than speaker coverage.
A story arc is audience orientation, not decoration. A strong public-speaking prep move does three jobs at once. It makes the speaker retrieve the message out loud, it gives the audience a reason to follow the arc, and it keeps the likely Q&A concern connected to the recommendation. Rehearse Say the risky line under a realistic constraint: timer, clicker, room, or interruption. Shape Use the arc to decide what belongs in the main path and what belongs in backup. Land Prepare the answer that acknowledges the concern, answers it directly, and returns to the decision.
