SBAR What does SBAR stand for? “I don’t want to bias EMS with my guess.” Your line “I’ll report observations, not a diagnosis.” Withholding useful facts because you fear being wrong. Observed facts are not overreach. Full story or first status? Lead with the live problem, then add background. What facts belong in the first sentence? Who, where, what happened, current responsiveness/breathing, and the main concern. Keep it short enough to survive interruption.
