Match common business questions to the correct financial statement.
Question: Did operations make money this month? Start with the Profit & Loss statement. It reports revenue and expenses over a period. Profit vs position Different time logic, different decision use. If profit is positive, cash should be fine. Your line Profit shows performance; cash also reflects collections, payables, debt, inventory, and draws. Treating net income as bank movement. It opens the bridge without dismissing the concern. Question: What do customers still owe us? Use accounts receivable aging. It explains the receivable asset and collection timing.
