Build a Recital Run Sheet with RACI
Use RACI to assign recital run-sheet responsibilities without duplicating ownership.
The studio is preparing a recital run sheet for 31 numbers, 12 teachers, one sound tech, and 18 backstage volunteers. Last year, dismissal timing changed twice because no one knew who had final say. RACI: Responsible does the work, Accountable owns the outcome, Consulted gives input, Informed receives the update. The common trap is treating "everyone helps" as ownership. Shared effort is useful; shared accountability is usually confusion. List high-risk tasks Identify run-sheet items that can break show flow: number order, music handoff, dressing-room dismissal, quick-change support, and parent pickup.
