Commit to One Opportunistic Refactor

Make one bounded opportunistic refactor in code you are already changing. A bug fix, small feature, or review comment where one local structure move would reduce current change risk. In my next PR touching [module/function], I will make exactly one behavior-preserving refactor: [rename/extract/delete/move]. It supports the change because [current cost]. I will verify it with [test/check] before changing behavior. In 2 days, check whether the refactor happened, whether it stayed bounded, and which test proved behavior stayed unchanged.
