Offboarding Is Not One Button
Describe the four surfaces that must be checked during SaaS access offboarding.
A disabled login is a milestone, not the end of SaaS offboarding. Identity Disable the central identity path quickly. This reduces immediate login risk, especially for SSO-connected apps. Local Accounts Check application-local users, guest accounts, recovery emails, and password logins. Some apps survive outside the identity provider. Ownership Transfer dashboards, folders, automations, billing ownership, connectors, and admin roles. Otherwise removal can break work or leave assets unmanaged. Tokens and Sessions Revoke API keys, personal access tokens, OAuth grants, device sessions, and app passwords where they exist. These can continue acting after the person is gone.
